One UI 7 is Samsung’s Android 15 release. The beta period is over, and Samsung began the stable rollout on April 7, 2025. If your Galaxy still shows an older version, availability depends on its model, CSC and carrier.
This article originally explained how the One UI 7 beta registration worked. I have kept those steps below for reference, but they are no longer a way to install One UI 7. Check Settings > Software update > Download and install for the supported release assigned to your phone.

During the beta period, eligible users registered through the Notices area in Samsung Members with a Samsung account. The screenshots below are kept only to show that old process; registration is closed now.
How to install the supported release now
- Open Settings.
- Tap Software update.
- Choose Download and install.
What to expect from One UI 7?
The One UI 7 update is expected to bring a wide variety of enhancements designed for improving performance, user experience, and device functionality. Although any specific details regarding the features aren’t available, but you can still expect enhanced customization options, refined aesthetics, and a more seamless integration with the South Korean OEM’s ecosystem of devices and services. Rumors also suggest that Samsung might be incorporating a vertical app drawer option. Moreover, you can also see added Good Lock features incorporated into the stock software.
Expected release date for One UI 7
Currently, there is no specific update set for the official rollout of the upcoming One UI update. But it is expected to arrive a few days after the Android 15 update comes out. Previously, the Android 15 update was set to arrive with the Google Pixel 9 announcement but that did not happen. The update could come either in September or October depending on the announcement of the Android 15 update.
