Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold 7 update reached the US on November 5, 2026, a day after the international build landed in our firmware feed. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 FE got the same release. All three stay on the October 5 patch, so this isn’t the November security update you might be waiting for.
Samsung’s changelog says only “Stability and reliability”. To see if your phone has it, open Settings > About phone > Software information and match your Build number to the table below.
Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE builds

| Galaxy Z Fold 7 | SM-F966U | F966USQUDCZJB | AT&T, T-Mobile | Nov 5 |

| Galaxy Z Flip 7 | SM-F766B | F766BXXUDCZJB | India and 23 other channels | Nov 4 |
| Galaxy Z Flip 7 | SM-F766U | F766USQUDCZJB | AT&T, T-Mobile | Nov 5 |

| Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE | SM-F761B | F761BXXUDCZJB | India and 21 other channels | Nov 4 |
| Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE | SM-F761U1 | F761U1UEUDCZJB | US unlocked | Nov 5 |
The international channels include Europe (EUX), the UAE, Singapore and Malaysia, with Australia following on November 5. Japan’s unlocked Fold 7 and Flip 7 got their own builds on November 4, F966QOPU1CZJD and F766QOPU1CZJD, and the note there reads “Device stability improvements, bug fixes.”
Our feed shows no AT&T or T-Mobile build for the Flip 7 FE yet. It doesn’t list a Verizon build for any of these three either, so carrier owners on those channels may need to wait.
Why the November patch isn’t in this update
Samsung has published its November 2026 security bulletin, but that’s the list of fixes, not the rollout. As of November 6, not one build in our feed carries a November patch, across all 74 device entries we track.
So if you see a new update on your Galaxy Z Fold 7 and expect the November patch, you won’t get it here. Check the patch date on your phone with our security patch level guide, and watch our November 2026 security update tracker for the first phones to get it.
The Galaxy S25 series is in the same spot. SamMobile covered that update on November 5, and our feed shows S938BXXUDDZJB for the S25 Ultra in 27 channels, also on the October patch.
Does this Galaxy Z Fold 7 update fix One UI 9 Wi-Fi problems?
Samsung hasn’t said so. Android Authority reported on November 5 that some Galaxy owners have Wi-Fi, mobile data and SIM problems after One UI 9. One Galaxy Z Fold 7 owner in that report said Wi-Fi calling on T-Mobile hasn’t worked since the update.
The changelog here doesn’t mention any of that. Our feed shows this is the first non-security build these phones have had since One UI 9, so it’s worth installing if you’ve had trouble, but don’t count on it as a fix. If Wi-Fi calling is your problem, our Wi-Fi calling guide covers the settings and carrier side.
How to install the update on your foldable
- Connect to Wi-Fi and charge your phone. SamMobile puts the Galaxy S25+ build from this batch at 711.80MB, so expect something in that range.
- Open Settings > Software update.
- Tap Download and install.
- Let the phone restart, then confirm the new build under Settings > About phone > Software information.
If nothing shows up, your channel may simply be later in the rollout. Enter your model and CSC in our Samsung firmware checker to compare, or look through our One UI 9 update tracker for the wider picture. Still on an older build? We covered the bigger jump in our Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 One UI 9 post.
